Cara Zara as Mother Earth for the Library Summer Reading Program

Introducing the children to “The Story of the Root Children” – My favorite part of entertaining is chatting with the kids before the show.

“Hula-Hoop Queen of the Universe” Cara Zara is back for another summer of library shows but with a costume change. I’ll be appearing at NC and SC libraries as “Mother Earth” bringing to life Sibylle von Olfers’ 1906 children’s book “The Story of the Root Children”. My delightful show combines the 2013 “Dig into Reading” library theme, storytelling, the cycle of seasons, classical music, dance, and the allure of spinning hula-hoops.Visit http://CaraZara.com – private for library program booking information, show schedule and locations. This video is a clip from the demonstration I did at the SC Library Performers Showcase.

Cara Zara Hoop Dancer entertains at festivals, corporate events, library summer reading programs, private event and children’s birthday parties.

Cara Zara has taught thousands of children the art and fitness of hooping with her popular “hula-hoop kid-fit” after-school enrichment program.
