- Matthews Alive Festival
Come visit me at the Matthews Alive Festival this weekend! I would love to see some smiling friendly faces while I’m hooping. I’ll be on the Children’s Stage Saturday at 12pm and the Cultural Stage at 3:30. On Sunday I’ll be on the Cultural Stage at 2pm.
Matthews Alive, Inc. is a not-for–profit corporation managed by area volunteers to promote a traditional Labor Day Weekend Festival in downtown Matthews, NC. The mission of the festival is to provide an opportunity for local non-profit groups to raise funds for their organization to benefit the community. Community groups volunteer their time by working the event, which in turn provides Matthews/Charlotte and the southeast a festival packed with an array of family activities, entertainment, arts and food. The proceeds from the festival go directly to these non-profit organizations in order that they may provide services to enhance the quality of life in our area.
