My friend Dorne Pentes, co-founder of Spin Revolution, and I will be the opening entertainment for Saturday night’s Charlotte Shakespeare Festival’s production of Tartuffe. Bring the family and some lawn chairs and get your weekend culture fix!
We hoop at 7:15. Play starts at 8pm.
The 2011 mainstage season kicks off with Moliere’s classic farce Tartuffe outdoors at The Green Uptown June 2-19. The production of Tartuffe marks the expansion of the festival’s programming to include classical plays from authors other than Shakespeare.

The Green is a 1.5-acre downtown park, surrounded by 60,000 square feet of retail and office space. Restaurants and retail shops open to the park from a European-style arcade positioned along one side of the park and a three-story brick and glass building on the opposite side, overlooking the park.
