Hooping Manifesto

Hooping Manifesto: by SaFire – visit www.hoopcity.ca

  • The sound of hoops hitting the floor makes you smile because you’re learning.
  • Find freedom in your flow.
  • Explore, expand, experience.
  • Practice makes perfect improvement.
  • We don’t have to learn everything.
  • There is no “best” only different.
  • Break the rules; defy gravity.
  • Bruises are our badges.
  • Comfy clothes are a key to life.
  • Create smiles with guerrilla hooping.
  • Hooping is our meditation.
Our Mission and Core Values
Compassion – We will be kind to others and respect their point of view, helping them grow will better the world, better them and better ourselves. We also hold compassion for ourselves, our journey and our process, avoiding comparisons between ourselves and others.
Integrity – We do what we say we will do. If we cannot keep our promise we let other know as soon as possible to find a newer, better solution
Balance – Everything we do in our lives is connected. We will give balanced energy to others and to ourselves in our work, play, body and mind.
Independence – We have the strength to create our own futures and our own lives, independently of our childhood, our past and our present situation.
Fun – We appreciate everyday, filling the frustrating ones with activities that generate smiles and laughter.
